Waves to Home had the honour and joy of leading storytelling workshops at the Arthur V. Mauro Institute for Peace & Justice in Winnipeg, Canada—two days filled with discovery, connection, and inspiration.
Phd students and experts from diverse backgrounds came together to explore the stories that define them, uncovering the power within their own experiences. Through creative exercises and shared dialogue, participants discovered how to reimagine themselves as the heroes of their own journeys and the changemakers of their communities.
The workshops weren’t just about telling stories, they were about finding strength, building hope, and creating space for resilience to shine through. Every story shared, every reflection voiced, became a thread in a collective tapestry of courage and possibility.
By the end of the sessions, it was clear: the room had transformed into a space where everyone felt seen, empowered, and ready to step into their potential.
Thank you, Winnipeg, for welcoming Waves to Home and joining us in celebrating the beauty and power of human stories.
