Sharing Stories in the Found in Translation Museum

Zoya, founder of Waves to Home, had the incredible opportunity to be part of a beautiful journey with writers and artists who came together to bring important messages into the world.

The Found in Translation community led this art project, connecting writers and artists to transform personal experiences into powerful works of art. Zoya’s collaboration with her artist partner helped her view her story from new perspectives, perspectives that encourage collective thinking and reshape narratives in ways that inspire change in people’s thoughts and emotions through Artivism.

Zoya reflected: “Creating a beautiful impact, despite and through the traumas I’ve experienced, has become a huge inspiration in my life. This project allowed me to be part of something larger, translating migratory experiences into ART.”
